Enhancements

Parcel Pro Tools

  • The Explode tool now works with polygons with holes.
  • Values for the Point of Beginning (POB) are validated based on the current map’s spatial reference when using the Metes and Bounds tool.
  • Call control validation is improved for curved lines while using the Metes and Bounds tool.
  • The Metes and Bounds tool has several new functions:
    • Circular curve calls can be drawn.
    • CSV files with calls can be imported or exported.
    • A Labelling mode is introduced to the tool pane with the ability to add and format label text.

Bug Fixes

Parcel Pro Tools

  • The Square Type for buffering points in the Buffer Tool includes Area as an input option.
  • Point Buffer distances for the Buffer Tool are no longer slightly off when using the Rectangle and Square options.
  • When using the Square point-buffering mode of the Buffer Tool, the units for width and height remain synchronized and the dimensions appropriately update so that the tool always makes a square.
  • The Duplicate Line / Parallel Line tool is renamed to Create Parallel, and the name is updated in both the toolbar and tool pane.
  • The Create Parallel tool no longer has a Corners option in the tool pane.
  • When using the Import Line function for the Metes and Bounds tool, selecting the end point and Forward direction works correctly without causing ArcGIS Pro to crash.
  • When using the Metes and Bounds tool, importing a part of a multipart polygon no longer generates incorrect calls.
  • Editing or Importing POB calls with out of domain XY coordinates using the Metes and Bounds tool works correctly.
  • The Generate Call Labels button in the Metes and Bounds tool is appropriately deactivated when Halo or Offset values are not valid.
  • The Divide tool uses the correct choice of units for dividing polygons when a map is in projected coordinate systems.

Pandell GIS 6.0.110

  • Enhancement - LandWorks Desktop GIS now supports ArcGIS Enterprise 11, which includes ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Portal! Support for this upgraded version includes the ability to create and use GIS maps within ArcGIS Enterprise 11. Currently the upgrade to ArcGIS Enterprise 11 is only available for non-hosted clients. Please contact the Pandell Support team to learn more about upgrading to the newest version of ArcGIS. Note that only the features described in these release notes are currently available and any other features (e.g., Automapper) are not yet supported.
  • New Feature - A new parcel toolset is available for ArcGIS Pro, called Parcel Pro Tools! The new tools are enhanced and redesigned from the original Parcel Edit Tools toolset used in ArcMap. Currently Parcel Pro Tools are only available for non-hosted clients, but will be coming soon for hosted clients in a future release. Enhancements

  • Users can manually create and use GIS Maps within ArcGIS Enterprise 11.
    • ArcMap can be replaced by ArcGIS Pro.
    • Rollups are supported through GIS Services.
    • All widgets are supported except Print, which does not yet have full functionality.
    • Existing Category Layers are functional, however new Category Layers must be created manually with the help of the Pandell Support team.

  • The new Parcel Pro Tools toolset is available for ArcGIS Pro and includes the following tools:
